It's up!!!

February Mag Knits is up! With my pattern! I am officially published! Yahoo! There are some other great patterns in the new issue as well, like Amy's knitted sushi.

I have lots of sock updates, but I hear the boy rustling around so you'll have to wait until this afternoon. I'm off to do a happy dance...

Beautiful pattern! Congratulations! I have been debating on whether or not I want to work on a sock pattern and submit it somewhere. I've got a few ideas for sock patterns. I'll have to see where it leads me! So far I've only really designed baby sweaters.

Nice scarf- and we're twins! (As in both in the same issue of MagKnits, I mean.) Way to go on the Knitter's thing too- the deadlines are pretty tight over there but doable! The cool thing is they don't plan issues as far in advance as the rest so you don't have to wait so long to see your design in print. Good luck!

Hello

I love your ziggy scarf in magknits and decided to make it. But I didn't get very far!

What is 'SSK'? Slip stich knitwise? What's YO? I assumed it meant 'yarn over' (to make a stitch) but when I see 2 'YOs' together I can't figure out how it can work!

I'm probably being very dense here... apologies! I can't wait to have a ziggy!

Thank you.
