Movie quote time...
While I was seaming up two sweaters this past weekend, Bill and I got to watch one of our very favorite movies. How's this for the most grammatically incorrect sentence ever?
"I ain't said I don't want no new house."
Any guesses as to the title of the flick, anyone? Katrina?

Gone with the Wind?
Nope...good guess, though!
That'll be in the remake: Gone with the Wind Goes to the Ghetto! My guess is Undercover Brother or some other blaxploitation picture like that.
Um, nope...Gone With The Wind is much closer than Undercover Brother (which is definitely NOT one of our favorite movies of all time)!
The Color Purple?
Oh, and welcome home! :)
Nope! But I'll give you another hint - the person who spoke the quoted line won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for her performance in this movie. The movie itself was nominated for a best picture Oscar and won a best picture Golden Globe.
Coal Miner's Daughter! Loretta herself sings the song that I took my blog name from.
I might not have answered, cuz Dooh he don't want me to say nuthin', but I couldn't resist.
Thanks for helping me to feel somewhat smart today.
You got it, sister!
